Brings Expanded MultiDyne and MRMC Technology Portfolio to Dubai...
USA: At CABSAT 2026, MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems will showcase an expanded technology portfolio that brings MRMC's camera robotics and motion control technologies alongside MultiDyne's established fiber transport, camera connectivity and IP solutions. The broader offering follows MultiDyne's acquisition of the assets of MRMC (Mark Roberts Motion Control) in June 2026, giving customers greater flexibility to add new capabilities while continuing to use the infrastructure and workflows that already work for them.
CABSAT takes place October 5-7 at the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Dubai, UAE.
MRMC develops robotic camera systems, motion control and automated tracking technologies for broadcast, film, sports and live production. As part of the acquisition, MultiDyne established MultiDyne Robotics and Motion Control Limited, which continues to operate under the established MRMC brand.
The two portfolios address complementary parts of the production chain. MRMC technology moves, positions and automates cameras, while MultiDyne transports and manages the video, audio, communications and data those cameras generate.
"The MRMC acquisition gives us a much broader set of technologies to address different requirements across the production chain," said Sebastian Mucha, Executive VP of Sales
& Strategy at MultiDyne. "A customer may need robotics and automation, additional camera connectivity, higher-capacity fiber transport, IP infrastructure or a combination of those capabilities. The important thing is that they can add what makes sense for their production environment without having to rethink everything around it."
MultiDyne continues to develop the fiber and signal transport technologies on which the company has built its business. At CABSAT, the company will demo its SilverBack-IP fiber camera adapter, which brings native SMPTE ST 2110 connectivity to digital cinema camera workflows, allowing production teams to integrate their preferred cinema cameras directly into IP production environments. The SilverBack-IP extends MultiDyne's Emmy Award-winning family deeper into the hybrid SDI/IP production universe while preserving the mobility, camera flexibility and proven performance of previous SilverBack models.
MultiDyne will also highlight the VF-9100, the latest generation of its VersaFrame fiber transport platform. Designed for hybrid SDI/IP facilities, the VF-9100 introduces a redesigned architecture, greater processing capacity, expanded modularity and native RESTful API support. This allows monitoring, configuration and diagnostics to be integrated more easily with network management and facility control systems while providing a practical bridge between established baseband infrastructure and IP-based workflows.
MultiDyne will also show its new MDoG-8800 eight-channel 12G fiber transport module for the openGear ecosystem. Designed for high-density 4K and 8K workflows, the module combines flexible internal routing with a choice of fiber-per-signal or integrated CWDM configurations.
The expanded portfolio is particularly relevant in the Middle East, where broadcasters, sports organizations, production companies and major entertainment venues continue to invest in new production infrastructure and capabilities. As these environments grow, so too do requirements for automation, IP-based production and higher-capacity fiber connectivity, while many organizations also need to build on the systems and workflows already in place.
"The value of the expanded portfolio is flexibility," Mucha added. "Customers can bring together robotics, automation, camera connectivity, fiber transport and IP in the way that best fits their production environment. It gives them a practical path to expand their capabilities and evolve their infrastructure with or without requiring a wholesale change to workflows and technologies that already work for them."
MultiDyne will exhibit in Hall S19, Stand H2-A57.
