TVLogic Lines Up Native 4K Displays

USA: TVLogic, designer and manufacturer of LCD and OLED High Definition displays, is returning to NAB 2018 with an expanded range of UHD/4K monitors, a 55-inch precision OLED monitor, and additional display sizes to extend the company's popular hi-end LCD series.

The line-up reflects the company's pioneering spirit and commitment to address the constantly changing needs of broadcast, production, post-production, and multi-viewer applications. All TVLogic monitors will be on display at NAB.

"TVLogic has always been an industry visionary, bringing some of the most advanced display technology to market before its time," said Denny An, Director of Worldwide Sales. "In 2010 we launched the world's first AMOLED broadcast monitor, and that same year debuted a first generation 4K monitor. This year, we are delighted to build on our successes and bring several models to NAB, many with native 4K resolution, that incorporate even more features and reflect our superior video engineering capabilities."

TVLogic introduced one of the industry's first generation 4K monitors over eight years ago and has since expanded the LUM series to include several popular sizes. This year three new models are being highlighted.

  • The LUM-313G (pictured) is a 31.1-inch native 4K resolution (4096×2160) monitor with maximum luminance of 350nit, contrast ratio of 1500:1, wide colour gamut and wide viewing angle. Equipped with 4 BNCs (2×12G-SDI + 2×3G-SDI) and HDMI 2.0 interface, it supports various video formats up to 4K/60p through single-link 12G-SDI, Quad 3G-SDI and HDMI 2.0. In addition to various professional features such as Waveform monitor and Vectorscope, the LUM-313G provides HDR emulation function with HDR EOTFs of PQ, HLG and SLog3. More camera-specific HDR logs and gamuts will be supported by firmware updates.
  • The LUM-318G is a 31.1-inch native 4K resolution (4096×2160) monitor with maximum luminance of 850nit, contrast ratio of 1500:1, wide colour gamut and wide viewing angle. Equipped with four BNCs (2×12G-SDI + 2×3G-SDI) and HDMI 2.0 interface, it supports various video formats up to 4K/60p through single-link 12G-SDI, Quad 3G-SDI and HDMI 2.0. In addition to various professional features such as Waveform monitor and Vectorscope, the LUM-318G provides HDR emulation function with HDR EOTFs of PQ, HLG and SLog3. More camera-specific HDR logs and gamuts will be supported by firmware update. LUM-310A will be replaced with LUM-318G.
  • LUM-430M - 43-Inch True UHD Monitor - UHD/4K monitor with a 43-inch True UHD (3840x2160) resolution and true 10-bit driver. The model accepts quad 3G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 inputs.

A pioneer in OLED technology, TVLogic brought the world's first AMOLED broadcast monitor to market in 2010. At NAB 2018, the manufacturer will highlight the latest model in its OLED range.

  • LEM-550R - 55-inch UHD OLED Monitor for HDR MonitoringLEM-550R is a QC-Grade HDR monitor for broadcast and post production with a 55-inch OLED panel with UHD resolution of 3840 × 2160. The OLED panel can reproduce a maximum luminance of up to 750 nits. The LEM-550R supports various HDR standards such as SMPTE 2084PQ, Hybrid-Log Gamma (HLG), and others. It also supports multiple colour gamuts including Rec.709, DCI, and Rec.2020. Signal I/O includes 3G/6G/12G-SDI input via one, two, or four SDI connections as well as HDMI (ver.2.0).


TVLogic's LVM series offers superior picture quality, wide viewing angles, professional broadcast functionality and low power consumption in slim, single-piece integrated designs. At NAB 2018, The Company is expanding the range with two models.

  • The new LVM-171S (pictured) is TVLogic's top QC-Grade 17-inch model with a 16.5-inch IPS LCD panel with 1920x1080 native resolution, wide-gamut reproduction (up to DCI-P3) enhanced contrast ratio and wide viewing angle all unmatched by other LCD monitors. A completely redesigned video processing unit provides powerful dual-channel performance and artefact-free image reproduction. Support for various cinema camera log-to-linear LUTs, easy field upgradability and a full array of image processing features are standard.
  • The new LVM-241S (pictured) is TVLogic's top QC-Grade 24-inch model with a 24-inch IPS LCD panel with 1920x1200 resolution. This monitor incorporates the same desirable features as its 17-inch counterpart, including wide-gamut reproduction (up to DCI-P3), enhanced contrast ratio and wide viewing angle all unmatched by other LCD monitors. A completely redesigned video processing unit provides powerful dual-channel performance and artefact-free image reproduction. Support for various cinema camera log-to-linear LUTs, easy field upgradability and a full array of image processing features are standard.

The new models will be featured along with existing product line throughout the show.
