GatesAir Reports Maxiva Contract In Philippines

PHL / USA: GatesAir, a global leader in wireless, over-the-air content delivery solutions for radio and TV broadcasters, has announced a substantial TV win in the Philippines.
Broadcast Enterprises and Affiliated Media (BEAM) has purchased a Maxiva ULXTE liquid-cooled transmitter with PowerSmart Plus technology. The compact single-rack configuration includes dual Maxiva XTE exciters with automatic switching to maximise redundancy, stability and uptime.
The high-efficiency design of the Maxiva ULXTE with PowerSmart Plus provides better performance and total cost of ownership for the customer, while eliminating the customer’s risk of downtime.
A spokesperson for GatesAir said that the contract win was “due to competitive pricing, a five-year warranty, and an accelerated delivery time to replacing an aging transmitter with declining performance.”
“BEAM’s strong relationship with local channel partner Composite Technology, which handles local service and support needs, also contributed to the decision,” the spokesperson said.
GatesAir provides complete solutions for over-the-air radio and television broadcasting, leveraging wireless spectrum to maximise performance for multichannel, mission-critical services.
Powering over-the-air networks worldwide with unparalleled reliability for nearly 100 years, GatesAir’s turnkey solutions enable broadcasters to create, transport and transmit radio and TV content.
